Based on investigative reporting by Bloomberg News, Can’t Look Away: the Case Against Social Media exposes the real-world consequences of tech companies’ digital practices and widespread concerns over harmful algorithms. Through emotional testimonies and high-stakes legal battles, the film explores the tension between corporate profit and child safety, highlighting systemic failures that leave young users vulnerable. Can’t Look Away underscores the urgent need for industry reform and serves as both a wake-up call about the dangers of social media and a call to action to protect future generations.
Screening will be followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
